Education and Empowerment (EEP)

The Space to Share Foundation aimed at improving educational opportunities and empowering people or communities especially underprivileged or marginalised groups. These initiatives seek to increase access to high-quality education, encourage skill development, and support individual and collective development.
The goal is to increase enrolment rates in primary and secondary schools by 2050, focusing on girls and marginalized communities.

The program also aims to improve teacher training and development, foster inclusive education, encourage community involvement, promote STEM education, support vocational and technical training, raise health and nutrition awareness, and promote literacy and numeracy skills. Additionally, the program aims to equip 50 schools with basic technology resources, such as computers and internet access, to enhance learning opportunities.

These initiatives aim to improve access to quality education. Design and implement after-school literacy and numeracy programs, utilize community volunteers as tutors and provide reading materials. To help train 50 teachers a year in subject-specific content and contemporary pedagogical techniques to enhance the quality of instruction. Providing learning materials and financial assistance, plan teacher professional development courses, mentorship programs, and seminars.
Encourage the use of reading and numeracy skills for Early Childhood development in Ghana.

KEY COMPONENT

Access to Quality Education: Developing relevant and engaging curricula that meet the needs of students and the local community. Space to Share Foundation will introduce the 4 C’s such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication through gamification concept.

Scholarship and Financial Aid: Offering financial support to students from low-income/Poor families to reduce barriers to education.

Awareness Campaigns: Raising awareness about the importance of education and empowerment, particularly for girls and marginalized groups.

Advocacy and Rights Education: Every child must have the rights to free quality education in both primary and Secondary schools in Africa by 2050, so that we could reduce poverty rate and improving health, peace and stability.

Educating individuals about their rights and how to advocate for themselves and their communities.

Leadership Training: Providing training programs that develop leadership skills among youth and women, enabling them to take active roles in the society.

In conclusion Education and Empowerment Projects are vital for fostering sustainable development, reducing poverty, and promoting social equity in communities in West Africa.
