Bridging The Gap In Healthcare Equity

Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity defined by WHO. According to our principles by Space to Share Foundation health must be a Fundamental Rights of every individual across the globe regardless of race, religion, political belief, economic status or social condition.

Everyone must be counted globally to receiving quality healthcare, this will create a peaceful environment for such ones. And the world become a better place for all. Our main goal is to enhance social determinants of health through policy advocacy and efficacy implementation.

Increase Access to Healthcare Services

Expand Insurance Coverage: Advocate for policies that expand Medicaid and other insurance options to cover more low-income individuals.

Community Health Centres: We need partnerships to support the development and funding of community health centres that provide affordable care regardless of insurance status.

Telehealth Services: Promote telehealth options that can reach underserved populations, especially in rural areas. This will solve 40% of casualty been recorded yearly for proximity issues that is patients moving milestone from homestead to health facility to receive treatments.

The following are the basics things we want to do to enhance the effectiveness of quality healthcare;

Health Education

Develop and fund community-based health education programs that inform individuals about available resources, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Peer Support Programs

Establish peer support networks that empower individuals to advocate for their health needs and navigate the healthcare system.

Advocate for Health Equity Policies

Support policies at local, Regional level and National levels that aim to reduce health disparities, such as increased funding for public health programs.

Engage in Policy Discussions

Involve low-income individuals in policy discussions to ensure their voices are heard and their needs are addressed.

The Space to Share Foundation in West Africa, specifically in Ghana, seeking invitations for the following entities to help build a strong healthcare ecosystem for a brighter tomorrow;

Partnerships and Collaborations with Local Organizations: Partner with local non-profits, faith-based organizations, and community groups to leverage resources and reach more individuals.

Public-Private Partnerships: Encourage collaborations between government agencies and private sectors to fund and implement health equity initiatives.
